Joy Ride!

They sure know how to enjoy life.

Simply Line...

I got a new sketch book when I visited RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) last week...and I do my best doodling on airplanes!! I love playing with line quality.

Meeting on the Street

Concept art for this final Sculptural piece...recognize these characters? "Umberto and Trejan" with "Sylvia and Maximo", some of my favorite pairs meeting on the street.

The Chase!

Umberto and Trejan

I saw this man who I named "Umberto" with his dog "Trejan" a few times when I was in Rome. I liked that Trejan seemed to resemble Umberto's mustache. Also, Umberto always had a cigar in his mouth when I saw him! What characters. Haha check it out!

Scottie with Old Man

An ink sketch of a scottie and his owner in the early morning, reading his paper.

Cell Phone Man

Drawn in Rome. This man certainly barks louder than his dog!!

Vulture Lady and High-Strung Pup

This was another break through sketch from Rome. I was initially inspired by the concept art for Disney's 101 Dalmatians. Check it out!

Maximo and Sylvia

Here is one of my break through drawings from Rome.
I love the contrast between this elegant woman walking her clunky bulldog.  What a funny pair!!!
